About Me
Who am I
I am Yaksh Patel, a Senior Data Scientist working on building scalable machine learning systems across high impact problem areas.
My experience includes credit, fraud, and risk modeling in fintech, where I have developed end to end machine learning solutions from exploratory analysis and feature engineering to deployment and monitoring in production. I have worked with tree based models, graph based methods, and large scale tabular data to solve problems that directly influence business decisions.
Beyond specific domains, my primary interest is in machine learning and deep learning. I enjoy designing robust systems, improving model generalization, and turning data into decisions that can be trusted in real world settings. I care about interpretability, disciplined experimentation, and building models that perform reliably outside of controlled environments.
I use this space to document technical explorations, ideas, and learnings across machine learning, deep learning, and applied data science.
